If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
SwiftSet is a web-based book formatting service that converts uploaded manuscript files (.docx) into professionally formatted print-ready PDF and EPUB files. The Service includes AI-powered chapter detection, automatic KDP-compliant margin calculation, and professional typographic formatting. Files are delivered via secure download links.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you may be required to create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You may not share your account credentials with third parties.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your account information is accurate and up to date.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payment Terms
The Service operates on a per-book, one-time payment model. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and are charged in US dollars. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the displayed price for the formatting service. All prices are subject to change, but any price changes will not affect orders already placed.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your manuscript content. By uploading your manuscript to the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your file solely for the purpose of providing the formatting service. We do not claim any ownership of your content, and your manuscript is not stored on our servers beyond the time necessary to complete your formatting order.
The Service itself, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is the intellectual property of SwiftSet and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftSet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific formatting order in question.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the formatting of your book, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your order by contacting us at hello@horizoncreativeservices.com. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in any activity that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service, other users, or our business interests. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also notify you of significant changes via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
